The gift that keeps on giving

A Kruger Untamed safari is the best present there is! There are gifts that are opened and set aside, and then there are gifts that change something quietly within us. A safari at Kruger Untamed belongs to the latter. It is not an item wrapped in ribbons or tucked beneath a tree. It is a moment in time, a deep breath, a reconnection, a doorway into something older and more grounding than anything we hold in our hands. As the world leans into the festive season full of celebration and reflection, the idea of giving an experience instead of an

The Early Bird 2026 Offer is here

Nature’s Classroom: Living the Life of a Tracker

Boyd Varty wrote, “No one can tell you what your track will be or how to know what calls you and brings you to life. That’s your work to do. But a great tracker can ask: How do you know you love something?” I struggled with this question for the longest time. But that was before all of this happened. I had heard about Renias Mhlongo from reading Boyd Varty’s books and podcast interviews – and so I reached out to inquire about going tracking with Renias for an extended period of time in order to immerse myself in the

Remembering Tshokwane: One of the Great Tuskers

The name Tshokwane evokes the spirit of one of Kruger National Park’s most legendary elephants. This formidable bull, named after the Tshokwane Rangers Post and Picnic site, due to him roaming the Tshokwane section and Metsi-Metsi trails area, leaving an indelible mark on both the landscape and those who encountered him. Tragically, by the time of his death, both of his magnificent tusks were broken, adding to his unique appearance. The Importance of Understanding Elephant Behaviour
