If you’ve set foot (or tyre) in the iconic Kruger National Park, you’re sure to have at least one wild story – you know, the kind that replays in your dreams long after the dust settles on your boots… A heart-racing close encounter with a pride of lions at dusk; an unbelievable sighting of a pack of painted wolves (African wild dogs) racing across the savannah during the fabled golden hour; the quiet moment when an elephant passed quietly by and the bush seemed to speak directly to your soul…

These are the raw, unfiltered, untamed moments that define a true Kruger experience.

And now, we want to hear yours.

We’re inviting you to share your most unforgettable Kruger memory for a chance to win a magical 2-night stay for two at one of our exclusive seasonal luxury tented camps, either Tshokwane River Camp or Satara Plains Camp.

Immerse yourself in the heart of the wild with Kruger Untamed, guided by expert trackers and rangers who honour indigenous wisdom, staying under canvas in spacious en-suite tents, off-grid luxury with a no-trace ethos, enjoying roaring campfires under endless stars, and game drives or walks that bring you closer to Africa’s untouched soul than ever before.

Our camps operate seasonally (from May to September), delivering raw safari magic in two of Kruger’s most wildlife-rich regions – the predator-packed plains near Satara and the prolific central landscapes around Tshokwane.

How to Enter the #MyUntamedStory Competition

Tell your story: Share a post on your social media feed of your most raw and unforgettable Kruger moment. It can be a photo, video, reel, carousel, or even a voice over that captures the essence of your experience – the sights, sounds, emotions, and details that still give you goosebumps.
Tag and hashtag: Make sure to tag @krugeruntamed and use the hashtag #MyUntamedStory in your post. This is how we’ll spot your entry!

Competition is open to persons 18+ who have visited Kruger National Park (South African residents or international visitors eligible).
1 original story = 1 post; must be your own content.
Prize: 2-night stay for two (sharing) at Tshokwane River Camp or Satara Plains Camp (seasonal availability, open May–September 2026).
Includes accommodation, meals, soft drinks and house alcoholic beverages, activities that are included as part of the all-inclusive package at each camp.
Excludes: travel to camp, park fees, premium drinks, gratuities, and extras.
Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Winner selected by Kruger Untamed judges based on originality, authenticity, and impact (decision final).
Winner notified via Instagram DM/entry method; must respond within 7 days or alternate may be chosen.
By entering, you grant Kruger Untamed a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, publish, and share your entry content (including name/handle and story) on social media, website, and marketing materials.
You confirm your entry is original and does not infringe third-party rights.
